About the SWISS DENTAL ACADEMY

The Swiss Dental Academy (SDA) has been in operation for nearly 20 years and was established in 2005 in order to provide quality professional development training programs to dentists, specialists, dental hygienists, oral health therapists and other dental professionals.

This is an in-depth, hands-on training course for foundational skills in GBT.

Aimed at the whole dental team, discover the 8 steps of Guided Biofilm Therapy and all 22 applications.

Advanced Perio Icon(1)

Periodontal & Implant Maintenance

This comprehensive CPD dental masterclass is designed to empower clinicians to recognise, monitor and treat periodontal and peri-implant diseases successfully through an evidence-based approach. This course gives participants a thorough overview of the current principles of treatment and gives hands-on experience using AIRFLOW®, PERIOFLOW® and PIEZON® on simulation models, assisted by one of our highly-skilled educators.

Prices for this CPD dental course start at $350.00 per clinician. Dentists, specialists, dental hygienists and oral health therapists are all eligible to take this course. Our half-day CPD dental courses are offered across Australia, in Sydney, Melbourne, South Australia, Western Australia, and Queensland.

PIEZON® Ultrasonics & Ergonomics

Our Intensive PIEZON® Ultrasonics and Ergonomics Masterclass is another major offering at SDA. This half-day dental CPD course is currently conducted around Australia in NSW, WA, SA, VIC and QLD, with morning and afternoon options available. Please speak to Ivoclar Vivadent New Zealand for New Zealand-based courses.

This course takes you through how PIEZON® instrumentation can be integrated into clinical protocols for biofilm management and calculus removal during preventative and periodontal maintenance. It will also further your understanding on how positioning and ergonomics for ultrasonic use will reduce discomfort for both you and the patient. This course is suitable for dentists, specialists, dental hygienists and oral health therapists who are looking to upskill or those wanting a practical refresh.
