Jennine Bywaters has an Associate Diploma in Dental Therapy, a BSc in Health Promotion and a Graduate Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety from Curtin University of Technology.

During her career, Jennine has demonstrated to dental hygiene students at Curtin University and was a long-term participant in the student placement program for both dental hygiene and oral health therapy students.

Jennine has been a committee member for ADOHTA and is the past Secretary for the Australian Society of Periodontology (WA).

Jennine joined a specialist periodontic practice in 2015 and is currently based in Cottesloe, Western Australia. Jennine provides Guided Biofilm Therapy as standard practice for periodontal maintenance.

Jennine is a trainer for the Swiss Dental Academy, the education arm of EMS. She has provided lectures and hands on training on GBT both locally and nationally since 2018.

Jennine was the invited representative for Oceania at the SDA Global Meeting in Portugal, 2024.

In May 2025, Jennine will attend EuroPerio in Vienna, Austria.
